Mike Moore to host a workshop at VPPPA

PRLog (Press Release) - Aug 02, 2011 - DALLAS – Shermco Industries' Mike Moore, vice p cadillac resident of sales, will be hosting a workshop at the 27th Annual Voluntary Protection Programs Participants' Association Conference, held from Aug. 29 to Sept. 1 in New Orleans at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

The workshop, titled "Electrical Multi-Employer Worksite Protection Program," will focus on the OSHA Multi-Employer Worksite policy.

"The workshop's aim is to help the host employer or general contractor at a worksite determine who is responsible for the qualifications of the various vendors that enter the worksite and who has the authority and the responsibility for identifying, communicating and correcting hazardous situations on the worksite," Moore said.

The VPPPA conference focuses on educating leaders in occupational safety and health. Features of the conference include: two days of workshops addressing current safety, health and environmental issues, keynote and general session speakers, evening reception and social activities providing the opportunity to network.
